It happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. back on June 5, 2010 at 850 Library Avenue.
Police say a 19-year-old Smyrna man walked over to his vehicle, entered and began to pull out of a parking spot when an unknown male came up to his driver side window and accused him of trying to run him over.
The suspect then began to punch the victim in the face. The suspect pulled the victim from the vehicle, and with the help of another male, continued to assault the victim.
The suspects then jumped into the victim's vehicle and drove off. The victim was run over by the vehicle as the suspects escaped. He victim sustained injuries to his arm and leg as a result and was transported to Christiana Hospital.
The vehicle was recovered a short distance away after being abandoned by the suspects.
