The judge denied the plea and the sentence was handed down.
Carrasquillo faced a maximum of 140 years in prison.

Back on August 11th of this year, 27-year-old Carrasquillo pleaded guilty to several charges in the rape of an 11-year-old girl in June of 2009 in a Kensington alleyway.
He also pleaded guilty in the indecent assault of a 16-year-old girl that occured just an hour before the rape.
In court, Assistant District Attorney Kate Thurston recounted what happened when police asked Carrasquillo why he committed the crimes. He allegedly said: "It was the drugs. My mind was telling me to do it."
Carrasquillo also had claimed they were racially motivated, because a woman had ignored his sexual advances just the day before in favor of a black man (Carrasquillo is Latino).
Carrasquillo said of blacks "They treated me bad and think they are a supreme race."
However, the judge noted that only one of Carrasquillo's victims is black, the other is Latina.
The victim's family told the court they were haunted by the surreal day and called Jose Carrasquillo's act one of utter obscene violence.
Carrasquillo was accused of raping the 11-year-old girl as she walked her sister to daycare on June 1st, 2009. Police say Carrasquillo dragged the girl down an alleyway and brutally raped the child in a secluded backyard.
Police found a blood smear on a discarded toilet and recovered a fingerprint from it as well. Police forensic bureau came up with a confirmed DNA evidence, linking Carrasquillo to the rape of the 11-year-old girl.
The attack was so brutal, the young victim required surgery.
A few days later he was spotted by two men who recognized him, attacked him, and held him until police arrived.
Carrasquillo was also charged with groping a 16-year-old girl outside the Kensington Creative and Performing Arts High School on June 1st, just an hour before the rape of the 11-year-old.
After the girl was groped, police say the Carrasquillo went into the school, sat down in the cafeteria, and had breakfast.
Carrasquillo was also hospitalized in April after a confrontation with guards in prison.
The victim was not in the courtroom during the sentencing, but she recorded a victim impact statement. In it she said she was traumatized greatly by the attack, but she would not consider herself a victim.
