Fire erupts for the 2nd time at Delaware restaurant

MINQUADALE, Del. - August 20, 2012

For the second time within 24 hours a fire broke out at the Casa Blanca restaurant on the 4000 block of North Dupont Avenue.

Crews were called around 6:00 a.m. and it took about 45 minutes to place the fire under control.

No injuries were reported.

Delaware state fire investigators are trying to determine the cause, and whether this fire was connected to Sunday's blaze at the same restaurant.

That fire broke out at 5:00 a.m. Sunday.

The Minquadale Fire Company responded to the fire and was aided by several neighboring fire companies.

Authorities say the flames burned throughout the entire establishment before crews brought things under control.

The fire caused approximately $100,000 in damage to the building.

The Fire Marshal's office says that fire originated inside a store room and was caused accidently by an electrical failure.

The building was closed at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported.
