TRAINER BOROUGH, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Delaware county boy is raising money to help out a local police officer who is battling cancer.

5-year-old Avery Graham is selling bracelets to help out the officer from the Trainer Borough Police Department.

The Department posted a photo picture on its Facebook page and it's going viral.

It shows little Avery holding a basket of his bracelets and a picture of his buddy, Officer Steve Adamek.

The pair became friends because Officer Adamek would always check on him when he was on patrol.

Avery was upset to hear why he hadn't seen him for a while and is now selling these bracelets to help with his care.

The department says Steve is touched and plans to stop by and see him - and thank him - when he's able.
