Bear goes for a dip in New Jersey family's backyard swimming pool

MENDHAM, New Jersey (WPVI) -- The weekend heat was apparently a little much for an uninvited guest in New Jersey.

A black bear took an afternoon swim in a pool in Mendham, New Jersey.

The McNeill family caught the whole thing on video as their guest enjoyed playing with the pool equipment.

After paddling around, he got out, shook himself off, and headed down the street.

Residents say there has been an increase in bear sightings recently.
