Prisoner escapes in Berks County

SOUTH HEIDELBERG TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities in Berks County are searching for an escaped prisoner.

Police say just after midnight Sunday John William Diven of Bellefonte pulled the fire alarm at Wernersville Correctional Facility in South Heidelberg Township and escaped.

Diven ran and got into a red passenger car.
