IRS: Tax refunds down $6 billion

If you got a lower refund from the IRS this year, you are not alone.

The agency says that refunds are down six billion dollars so far from last year.

As of March 29, the Treasury had issued nearly 72 million in refunds.

The average received was $2873.

And, a million and a half fewer people are getting money back this year.

The 2018 season was the first with the new Trump tax laws.
