1 critical after car hits pole in Camden, driver flees

CAMDEN (WPVI) -- Police in Camden, New Jersey, are looking for the driver who ran off after his car slammed into a pole.

The accident happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Kaighn Avenue near South 7th Street.

Investigators say the car went out of control, then hit the pole, and burst into flames.

A passenger in the car was taken to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition.
