UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Just one day after Selection Sunday, five of Philadelphia's college basketball coaches came together in the name of charity.
Villanova's Jay Wright, Drexel's "Bruiser" Flint, La Salle's John Giannini, Phil Martelli of Saint Joe's, and Temple's Fran Dunphy were all at the Palestra Monday morning.
It was the 17th annual "Coaches Versus Cancer" tip-off breakfast, to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Villanova coach Jay Wright said the event is a sign of how much heart Philadelphia sports fans have.
"It's really appropriate to Philadelphia. It's a great community that loves basketball and cares for its people," Wright said.
In addition to breakfast, the coaches shared their predictions for the Big Dance.
Villanova, a number one seed in this year's tournament, was a popular pick to make it to the Final Four.
Philadelphia's "Coaches Versus Cancer" program has raised $11 million since 1996.
