Flames damage 7 boats in Cape May County

SEA ISLE CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A fire damaged seven boats at a marina in Sea Isle City, New Jersey.

The blaze started around 11 p.m. Wednesday on the unit block of Old Sea Isle Boulevard.

The fire erupted just as a line of heavy thunderstorms blew through the area.

Firefighters responded quickly and found some boats had fuel on-board that accelerated the flames.

It took about an hour for crews to get the fire under control.

There were no injuries reported.

The fire marshal is investigating.
