Police chase striking vehicle in crash in South Jersey, 1 injured

MANTUA TWP., N.j. (WPVI) -- One person is hospitalized following a crash and police pursuit in Mantua Township, New Jersey.

The incident happened around 1:00 a.m. Monday on Route 55.

Police say two vehicles collided and one took off.

Officers pursued the car, but lost sight of it near the Delaware State line.

The driver of the other car was taken to Kennedy Washington Hospital in stable condition.

Police continue to investigate.
