Vehicle falls, kills man in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was killed after a vehicle he was working on fell on him in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened shortly after 6 p.m. along the 12200 block of Sweet Briar Road.

Police said the 35-year-old victim was rushed to Aria Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6:35 p.m.

So far, no word on what type of service the man was performing on his vehicle.

Police are investigating.
