Emergency repairs to Center City sinkhole

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Emergency repairs were made Monday to fix a sinkhole that opened up in Center City.

The hole opened up on 15th Street near Chestnut sometime overnight.

The Philadelphia Streets Department is blocking the hole with traffic cones and barricades while crews work on the problem.

One lane is open for traffic on 15th Street so expect slow going in the area.
