CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating two separate shootings, one fatal, that occurred in Chester overnight.
The first shooting happened at 10:32 p.m. Thursday at 22nd and Crozer Streets.
Police say several friends were walking home from a store when shots rang out.
An 18-year-old man was shot in the head. He is listed in critical condition.
An 18-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to the shoulder.
About three hours later, at 1:17 a.m. Friday, police were called to the 2700 block of West Third Street.
Officers arrived to find a 34-year-old man shot dead and 18-20 shell casings littering the street.
The victim, whose name is being withheld, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe he was ambushed as he left a nearby bar.
So for there have been no arrests in either case.
