To Protect, Serve, and Donate Meals

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police officers in West Philadelphia gave back to the community in a different way Monday.

They handed turkey dinners to students and their families at the Harrity School.

The act of kindness brought smiles, and a few laughs, around the room.

Each Thanksgiving meal had a handwritten message for the students, encouraging them to keep working hard at school.
