1 killed in fiery crash on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A person was killed Monday morning in a fiery crash on the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section.

The crash happened at about 2:20 a.m. in the 400 block of the boulevard.

Police said the driver lost control and hit a tree before the car burst into flames.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
