CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a high-rise apartment building in Claymont, Delaware.
It broke out before 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Whitney Presidential Towers in the 3000 block of Society Drive.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke on the 5th floor and above.
The source turned out to be a small fire in a utility compartment in the center stairwell between the 6th and 7th floors.
The situation was put under control within an hour.
One firefighter suffered a minor cut to his hand.
No other injuries were reported.
