Fire damages restaurant in New Castle County

MARSHALLTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a fire at a restaurant in a New Castle County, Delaware shopping center.

It happened around 4:40 a.m. Sunday at the Alpha Shopping Center on the 3600 block of Kirkwood Highway in Marshallton.

The fire broke out at the San Marcos Restaurant and Bar.

There were no reports of injuries, but the restaurant suffered severe damage.

A cause is under investigation.
