Delaware man bitten by copperhead snake in backyard

OCEAN VIEW, Del. (WPVI) -- A man in Delaware is very lucky after he was bitten by a dangerous snake.

The man was bitten in his back yard in Ocean View, Sussex County on Saturday by a copperhead snake.

He was taken to the hospital and treated.

Copperheads are venomous but usually stay out of sight.

The snake was captured and moved to a nature preserve.
