PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Last-minute preparations are underway across Philadelphia, just days before the Democratic National Convention.
"There's a lot of stuff going on and we're excited, but we still have some work to do," said Anna Adams-Sarthou, DNC Host Committee.
Adams-Sarthou says workers and volunteers will be busy until the final hours before the convention starts on July 25 - and during the event - to make sure things go as smoothly as possible.
"We don't get into the politics. We don't even get into what's going on inside the arena. For us, it is all about showcasing the city," said Adams-Sarthou.
Of course, all the pomp and circumstance takes place inside the Wells Fargo Center, but events will be taking place across the city to entertain the delegates and other visitors.
One major happening will be Political Fest. It's a six-day affair that features seven exhibits at the city's most historical and cultural sites.
Kristyn Aldrich and her team created each theme.
"They can expect to see all types of political memorabilia, all types of history," said Kristyn Aldrich, Leapstarr Productions.
One stop of Political Fest will be at the Convention Center, where vendors like Luis Liceaga are ready to sell merchandise from local artists.
"Being from Philadelphia, I was born and and raised in Puerto Rico and been here 40 years, so Philly is home," said Liceaga, Impact Dimensions. "To be part of this is just awesome."
Workers are busy adding the final touches to Exhibit Hall F, which will be transformed into a political entertainment center of sorts. It will be complete with a fun zone, a model of the Air Force One fuselage and more.
"It is beyond exciting. A lot of us are Philadelphia locals, and so it is incredibly special to us to be able to represent our hometown in this way," said Aldrich.
