A Philadelphia man who officials said ran a brutal dog fighting operation will spend the next four years on probation.

LAWNDALE (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia man who officials said ran a brutal dog fighting operation will spend the next four years on probation.

Antoine Talley was sentenced Thursday on charges of animal cruelty.

In 2013, Talley ran dog fights in the city's Lawndale section.

Humane officers rescued five dogs from a home on Van Kirk Street.

All were scarred and injured, and one was emaciated.

Three had to be euthanized.
