CHOP memorial pays tribute to gun violence victims
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is paying tribute to gun violence victims with a memorial.

WEST PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Dr. Joel Fein of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia started the Center For Gun Violence Prevention to find solutions to the city's issues with gun violence.

In partnership with the non-profit MOMs Demand Action, Fein opened up a gun violence memorial at one of the hospital's West Philadelphia locations, Karabots Center for Pediatric Care, to pay tribute to victims and their families.

In the garden, they painted the names of victims on stones and put them beneath the memorial.

There are also benches there and shaded areas for people to get together.

It's become a place for the community to gather and reflect and also find peace.
