Driver hurt after crashing into Strawberry Mansion building

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- A driver was injured after a vehicle crashed into a building in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section.

The accident occurred around 2:40 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and North 29th Street.

Police say the driver lost control and the vehicle struck a truck and then landed up against a business.

The driver suffered some head injuries, and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
