Dozens of Bucks County high school students and their parents are scrambling to find a place to finish the academic year.

WARMINSTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Dozens of Bucks County high school students and their parents are scrambling to find a place to finish the academic year.

Delaware Valley High School, a charter school in Warminster, filed for bankruptcy late Wednesday and abruptly closed its doors on Thursday.

Students and staff were given no warning.

Senior Matt Doane of Croydon is just two months shy of graduating. He was alerted of the school closing by text message from a friend Thursday morning as he was getting ready for class.

He tells us, "I just hope to graduate. I did my grad project... I did all my paperwork. I had all A's and B's in that school the whole time, every year, and they just hit me with this."

A recording on the school's phone urged students to contact their local districts.

Efforts to reach administrators and the owners have gone unanswered.
