Rain delays Billy Joel concert in Philly

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The drenching downpours caused a rain delay for the Billy Joel concert Friday night at Citizens Bank Park.

He was supposed to take the stage at 9, but the rain sent concert-goers scrambling inside.

After the rain calmed down and the clouds cleared, the concert finally began around 9:45 p.m.

This is the fifth consecutive summer Joel has performed at the South Philadelphia stadium.
