Weekend action: Events happening around the region -- April 14-16

Easter-themed events dot the region this weekend. Plus, Restaurant Week hits Manuynk and a number of family events. Here's a look at what's on tap.

Restaurant Week comes to Manuynk
Manayunk Restaurant Week is underway. Diners can enjoy three-course meal deals at some of the neighborhood's favorite eateries through April 21st.

Prison Break at Eastern State
Eastern State Penitentiary is displaying some unique artifacts as part of its fifth annual pop-up museum. This year's theme is "Prison Breaking News." The pop-up museum is in session through April 17th and is included with admission.

The Philly-NY rivalry is back on
It's the rivalry game soccer fans have been waiting for: The Union host the New York City Football Club Friday night. The two sides have a short history, but it's been fueled with fireworks.

A special passover meal
London Grill in Philadelphia's Fairmount neighborhood is celebrating Passover with a special menu. For $45, guests can enjoy matzah ball soup, sweet and sour beef brisket and much, much more.

Rabbit Run 5K
Runners will be racing through the Philadelphia Zoo in the 4th Annual Philly Rabbit Run 5k. It begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and raises money for Parkinson's disease.

Eggcellent Easter events
Hip hop hooray, Easter is on the way! Oasis Family Farm in Robbinsville, Mercer County, is celebrating with egg hunts and the Hoppin' Bunnyville Game. Each activity is $7. The farm is open Friday and Saturday and each activity cost $7.

Easter Promenade, AC edition
The 141st Atlantic City Easter Promenade steps off on Sunday. The holiday tradition will be staged at 2 p.m. at the Boardwalk and Michigan at Bally's Casino Atlantic City.

Easter Promenade, South Street edition
Or you could hop to South Street in Philadelphia for the 86th annual Easter Promenade. People, dressed in their Sunday best, will parade from Passyunk Avenue and South Street to Headhouse Square. The Easter Promenade begins Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
