PHILADELPHIA -- A Philly fashion designer has just come out with a line of bold accessories.
Bela Shehu is the founder and owner of Nino Brand Atelier. She designed her accessories line to have the same sensibility as her clothing.
"It's very geometric, minimal and fun," says Bela.
Her necklaces are made of brass and hand-forged in Philadelphia.
Her necklaces may remind you of Chinese architecture.
Bela has designed one that she calls Creed. There's also the Aubrey, the Emily and Celeste.
When you walk into a room, someone's going to notice you.
Nino Brand's pieces are like works of art. Bela calls her customers collectors and she names nearly everything after them.
"And that's our way of honoring our collectors. Most of our items are named after our collectors with us doing this game of predicting to match what we think their taste is to this finished piece that we think they will love," stated Bela.
The Emily is named for Philadelphia Magazine Fashion Editor, Emily Goulet, and a long-time Nino Brand fan.
"That was so cool! I feel like okay that's it. I can die happy now. I have a necklace named after me that I just adore," said Emily.
If you want to check out the accessories, Bela says her boutique is by appointment only.
