EAST ROCKHILL TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A firefighter and two other people are hospitalized after a fast-moving house fire in Bucks County.

The fire broke out at 3 a.m. Monday at a home in the 2500 block of Three Mile Run Road in East Rockhill Township.

Officials say the fire appears to have started in the chimney and spread quickly through the walls.

When it broke through to the roof, crews were forced to evacuate and fight the blaze from outside.

It was declared under control at 5 a.m.

Three adults were able to make it out of the home.

Two were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, along with a firefighter, who suffered an ankle injury.
