A ktichen fire kept firefighters busy early Sunday at a popular Center City restaurant.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Fire broke out early Sunday at a popular restaurant in Center City Philadelphia.

Firefighters were called out to R2L at Two Liberty Place around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officials tell Action News a fire broke out in the kitchen of the restaurant on the 37th floor.

Firefighters made quick work of the blaze, putting it out within 10 minutes.

There was no immediate word what sparked the fire.

Firefighters were called out to Two Liberty Place at the R2L restaurant around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

The restaurant was back up and operating by Sunday afternoon.
