Goodwill worker finds thousands of dollars in donated purse, finds rightful owner

NEW YORK CITY (WPVI) -- A worker for Goodwill was looking through donated items when she found a bunch of money.

According to WABC-TV, there was more than $39,000 in a purse donated by the family of a 101-year-old woman who had died.

The Goodwill worker did the right thing.

Tuesday in Queens, New York, the Goodwill worker with a heart of gold met the woman's grateful grandson.
