Flames damage house in Delaware County

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters in Delaware County battled an early Saturday morning house blaze in Springfield Township, Pennsylvania.

The fire broke out around 6:45 a.m. along the 300 block of Ballymore Road.

Crews arrived to find flames shooting from a 2-story single family home.

One person had to be rescued from the home.

The fire was placed under control in less than an hour.

So far, no word on what sparked the blaze.
