CHADDS FORD, Pa. -- It was a big bon voyage party at a Delaware county museum Thursday, not for a person, but for a popular painting of a pig.
It's called portrait of a pig, a nearly life-sized painting of a porker named Den-Den.
It's been on display here at the Brandywine River museum of Art in Chadds Ford, since 1971.
And needless to say it's been quite the attraction.
But the pig-painting is heading to the Denver museum of Art until next year.
And despite today's send-off party, Den-Den's departure has left everyone here a bit dis-gruntled.
