Hazmat crews are investigating an oil sheen on the Darby Creek. Brian Taff has more on Action News at 4 p.m. on Feb. 27, 2019.

LANSDOWNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- An oil sheen spotted on Darby Creek is causing concern in Lansdowne, Delaware County.

Chopper 6 was overhead Wednesday morning as state environmental workers, the fire department, and a public works crew investigated.

Right now, they don't yet know exactly what is on the water, or where it came from.

The spill is in Reservoir Park near Bryn Mawr and Ardmore Avenues.
