SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for a murder suspect they say is armed and dangerous.

Just released surveillance video shows the gunman last month walk into a laundromat in Southwest Philadelphia and open fire.

The shooter walked into the 53rd Street Laundromat and immediately approached 25-year-old Eric Norman at the front register and opened fire.

In the surveillance video he pauses, then police say he fires the fatal shot into Norman's head.

Police want you to take a close look at the suspect - especially his clothing. He's wearing a Philadelphia Water Department jacket and hat.

Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark says, "We are working with the Philadelphia Water Department, their bosses, in hopes of trying to identify this person. Whether he is an active employee or he's an ex-employee, or he's somebody who was just wearing a Philadelphia Water Department jacket."

Investigators say that Norman was likely followed into the laundromat around 11:00 a.m. on February 19th.

They say he often went there to buy lottery tickets. He lives around the corner.

Motive is unclear, but police believe Norman was targeted because of the execution style killing.

Captain Clark described Norman, saying, "He is married, he's a family man. He has one young child. Right now he is like a stay at home dad while his wife works. But for all intents and purposes, he's a good guy. Right now we have no leads or any reasons why somebody would want to do this to him."

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 25-35 years-old, 5'9-5'11 tall with a beard and husky build. He was wearing a blue Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) jacket with a reflective stripe around the arms and body, and gloves.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

If you see him, do not approach him and contact 911 immediately.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334/3335.

There will be a $20,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
