PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The massive cleanup effort will continue on Tuesday after a winter storm slammed the Philadelphia region.

Officials have stressed that road conditions may still be dangerous, especially with temperatures plummeting this week.

The next chance of widespread precipitation doesn't come until the weekend, and we will be watching to see whether a nor'easter forms and tracks along the coast or mainly stays out to sea.

FULL LIST: Snow emergencies declared in Pa. communities

Snow emergencies have been declared in Philadelphia and in several suburban Pennsylvania communities ahead of Sunday's major winter storm.

The declarations require vehicles parked along snowemergency routes to be moved so road crews can clear streets efficiently during and after the storm.

NJ Transit to suspend some services on Sunday due to winter storm

NJ Transit is suspending some services on Sunday due to the winter storm that is set to hit the region with snow and ice.

The agency announced that it will suspend bus, light rail & Access Link service for the entire service day on Sunday, Jan. 25.

Train service will operate until 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Customers must plan to arrive at their final destination no later than 2 p.m. on Sunday, officials said.

NJ issues commercial vehicle restriction beginning at 12:01am Sunday

The New Jersey Department of Transportation has issued a commercial vehicle travel restriction on multiple highways starting at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25 due to the approaching winter storm.

The vehicles covered by the order include:

-All tractor trailers

-Empty straight CDL-weighted trucks

-Passenger vehicles pulling trailers

-Recreational vehicles

-Motorcycles

Gov. Mikie Sherrill said during a news conference on Saturday that vehicles carrying food, fuel and medical supplies are exempt.

Also exempt are utility vehicles along with public safety and essential personnel. Click here for more details about the exemptions.

The restriction will be in place until further notice for the following highways in both directions:

-I-76 (entire length)

-I-78 (entire length)

-I-80 (entire length)

-I-195 (entire length)

-I-280 (entire length)

-I-287 (entire length)

-I-295 (entire length)

-I-676 (entire length)

-NJ Route 440 (both directions from the Outerbridge Crossing to I-287)

This restriction does not apply to:

-The New Jersey Turnpike

-The Garden State Parkway

-The Atlantic City Expressway
