ELMER, N.J. (WPVI) -- One person was injured after a fire broke out inside a Salem County home.

Smoke poured out of the home on the 400 block of Broad Street in Elmer as firefighters battled the blaze around 1 a.m. Sunday.

It took nearly an hour for crews to bring the fire under control.

One person who lives in the home was taken to Inspira Medical Center Elmer for treatment.
