EVESHAM, N.J. (WPVI) -- Faith leaders rallied outside the courthouse in Evesham Township, New Jersey Wednesday to support a clergyman who says he was targeted by a white supremacist.

Reverend Ryan Paetzold, a pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon, came to the defense of another pastor on Facebook, who had been publicly advocating against white supremacy.

That's when Paetzold says a man who has targeted other religious leaders in the area turned his sights on him.

Reverend Paetzold had plenty of support outside, with faith leaders from across the state saying his message was one that needed to be heard.

The suspect was due in court Wednesday, but his hearing was continued until a later date.
