18-year-old driver killed in Burlington County crash

WESTAMPTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- An 18-year-old driver was killed after losing control and slamming into a tree in Burlington County, New Jersey, according to authorities.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday on the 700 block of Rancocas Road in Westampton.

Police say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. They believe speed was a factor.

Rancocas Road was closed while police investigated the crash.
