1 dead in North Philadelphia shooting

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 9:50 p.m. Thursday on Somerset Street near Park Avenue.

Police say a man in his 20s was shot one time in the back of the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.

Police are hoping surveillance cameras on a church adjacent to the shooting scene captured the incident.
