Two men were shocked while working on a roof in South Philadelphia this morning.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two workers suffered electrical shocks while working on a home in South Philadelphia.

Emergency crews responded around 11:30 a.m. to the 2200 block of Fitzwater Street.

It appears that the victims, ages 27 and 29, were working on a rooftop when the ladder they were using came in contact with nearby power lines.

Both men were transported to Presbyterian Hospital and are listed in stable condition.

There is a wire down in the vicinity, and there were brief power outages in the area associated with the incident.

A PECO crew responded to the scene and made repairs.
