Governor tours progress at the Pearl Center

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Construction is moving along well at a project that will help veterans in Delaware.

Governor John Carney stopped by to tour the work being done at the Pearl Center.

It will eventually be the home-base for the nonprofit Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans.

Crews are working to turn an old nursing home into 50 apartments for those who have served our country.
