Suspect sought for theft at dog day care in Society Hill

Philadelphia police are looking for a thief who targeted a dog day care center in the city's Society Hill section.

Philadelphia police are looking for a thief who targeted a dog day care center in the city's Society Hill section.

It happened on March 2 at the Barkadelphia Doggie Daycare located at 614 South 3rd Street.

The suspect was caught on surveillance walking into the store just before 4 p.m.



After speaking with an employee and several customers for 15 minutes, the thief made his way to the back of the store and stole an unknown amount of cash from the register before fleeing the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 50 years-old with a heavy build. He was wearing a gray hat, light colored coat, blue jeans and black shoes.
