6 injured in crash in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in New Castle, Delaware.

It happened around 10:20 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Basin and Airport roads.

The exact details of the crash are unclear but one of the vehicles ended up overturned.

Six people were taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment. Initial reports are that their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The accident is under investigation.
