WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office is investigating three deliberately started fires in a Wilmington trailer park.
The Mill Creek Fire Company responded to the unit block of Indiana Road in the Park Place Trailer Park shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday for a trailer on fire.
Arriving firefighters encountered three fires.
Deputy fire marshals responded to the scene and determined all three fires were separate.
The fires were deemed arson.
One trailer, occupied by nine people, was destroyed by a fire.
Two other trailers sustained moderate fire damage.
A total of 12 occupants were displaced.
The damage was estimated at $40,000.
There were no reported injuries.
The American Red Cross is providing emergency assistance to the residents displaced.
Deputy fire marshals are conducting the criminal investigation.
