DART bus collides with car in Wilmington; 2 injuries

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Two people are hospitalized after a DART bus collided with a car in Wilmington.

It happened at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 12th and North French Streets.

Officials tell Action News there were 12 people on board the bus at the time of the crash.

Images from the Action Cam at the scene showed one of those passengers being transferred from the bus to an ambulance on a stretcher.

Police said injuries to the two people hurt in the accident appear to non-life-threatening.

There was no immediate word what led to the crash.
