Man fatally shot in Wilmington ID'd, suspect charged

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police have identified the man who was fatally shot in Wilmington and have also arrested and charged a suspect.

The shooting happened around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East 17th Street.

The victim, 26-year-old Donnell Clark, was found suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso and chest. He was taken to Christiana Hospital where he later died.

An investigation led police to the 600 block of East 11th Street and ultimately 22-year-old Rhishawn McNeil was taken into custody.

McNeil is charged with 1st degree murder and related offenses.
