ALBANY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania State Police said the search for missing Washington College student Jacob Marburger is over.
Marburger's body was found just before 3 a.m. Saturday in the picnic area in the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Albany Township, Berks County. His green Land Rover was also found at that location.
Police said he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Marburger of Cheltenham, Montgomery County, attended Cheltenham High School and Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland.
His disappearance prompted lockdowns at both schools.
