Pedestrian critical after being struck in Pine Hill, N.J.

PINE HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Pine Hill, Camden County.

It happened at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in front of the Great Wall China Kitchen on Blackwood-Clementon Road.

Police arrived and rushed the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed crews towing away a sedan with heavy damage to the front end and windshield.

Blackwood-Clementon Road was shut down between Branch Road and Montgomery Avenue as police investigated.
