Police: Suspect arrested in PNC Bank robbery in Center City

CENTER CITY -- Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly robbed a PNC Bank in Philadelphia Center City Saturday.

It happened around 11:45 a.m. at 1111 Market Street at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Police say the suspect passed a note to the teller, and implied he had a weapon, but it was never displayed.

The suspect was apprehended a short time later. Police say the man acted alone.

No injuries were reported.
