Shooting victim found dead under truck in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- An unidentified man was shot and killed in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown neighborhood.

The shooting occurred before 5 a.m. Thursday on the 3900 block of North 16th Street.

Police were responding to a hospital case when they found a trail of blood leading to the victim.

They say he apparently crawled underneath a pick-up truck and died.

He had been shot multiple times.

Police believe he was running from the shooter.

They say the victim was just two blocks from his home.

Investigators are checking the area cameras for evidence.
